Information Technology Consultants: Responsible for consulting clients and prospective clients on various accounting information systems and business processes. Major focus is on accounting software selection, installation, implementation and support. CPA or comprehensive accounting experience and training is required. Experience with computerized accounting systems preferred. Applications / Modifications Programmers: Responsible for writing and maintaining custom applications and accounting system modifications using Visual Foxpro and Visual Basic. Other tasks include database maintenance, data conversions, and custom report writing. Programming and relational database experience is required. Experience modifying, interfacing with, or importing and exporting to accounting systems is preferred. SQL and DBMS experience is preferred. Networking / Hardware Specialists: Responsible for consulting clients and prospective clients on network and hardware requirements. Major focus is on network installations and extensions, hardware configuration and trouble-shooting, peripheral (ie tape backup, modem, printer, scanner, etc) installation and maintenance. Experience required. Customer Service Representatives: Responsible for interfacing directly with clients and prospective clients and expediting other Golden West team members to provide information system solutions. Professional telephone presence is required. Position also requires candidate to learn computerized contact management and help desk software.
